After a "brief" hiatus...

I've decided that I will start blogging again. After almost a year. I have just had a bit too much on my mind recently that I felt like sharing, and since this platform exists, I may as well use it.

Blogging is such a funny activity, really. You have to be a bit aloof to indulge in it too because you are assuming an audience that you can't actually see. Although that's the motivation behind most online social networking sites... we're all performers on a virtual stage. Takes away a lot of the original social intentions.

To be honest, I doubt that anyone still visits this blog anymore, so my audience could well be zero. Although if you are reading this, you have automatically disproved that previous statement! How's that for some existentialism!

I wonder if any of my students know of this website too. Oh well. Here I go.
