Caught in a storm

Claire and I were at a church service last night when the storm struck. Most damaging storm in Queensland in 25 years, an expert said. High speed winds, lightning strikes and hail the size of golf balls left more than 230,000 homes and businesses without power, according to a news report. Gold Coast, Brisbane, Logan and the Sunshine Coast were all affect, but the Brisbane northern suburbs were hit the worst. Which is exactly where our church in The Gap is.

I'm not too sure how much I should say on this blog just yet, due to insurance and safety concerns; I might wait a few days. Apart from a few scratches, Claire and I are both safe, as are all the people who were with us. And boy do we have a story to tell about God's amazing power and protection.

Hey man,

I was trying to guess if that person with an umbrella was you. But again whose taking the pic then? Glad to know you're fine.

Anyway, the Lego Game seems fun. I am hoping to get started on mine own computer game (Red Alert 3) after my last paper. lol

Haha, believe it or not, I am neither the person with the umbrella nor the photographer. It's a photo that my friend took, which I snatched without permission.

But I'm sure she wouldn't mind ;)

And guess what, I just got Red Alert 3 too! Been a long time since I've played an RTS game though...very rusty. Maybe we should do multiplayer against each other one day...haha
